Story…
From Operation "Banana Peel" in October 2885, the “Snake-Eye” has been used mainly in assault operations on the moon and in lunar orbit. The operations were always extremely difficult, and the “wear rate” of the suit, such as the decrease in survival rate and damage due to collisions with additional debris floating in the combat operation space, was a major problem. The Mercenary Army, which urgently needed to deploy a new space combat armor suit, developed a new S.A.F.S. (Super Armored Fighting Suit) This machine is not only characterized by increased survivability due to increased armor but is also equipped with a new excimer laser that uses a large aperture lens, a new indirect vision system, and additional electronic weapons. These additions were significant improvements on previous models.
In September 2886 during the Mercenary Army’s large-scale offensive on the lunar surface, Operation Dynamo, Snake-Eye Teams were dispatched as part of a diversionary element in Operation Dark Side of The Moon to strike Early Warning and Electronic Warfare sites protecting the Strahl Army Luna Arsenal.
Due to its excellent performance, an order for mass production was issued without waiting for operational results.
